The quickest way to reach Burnaby.Business is to call or text (604) 632-4959, or email Ali@Sedighi.ca. Someone answers Mon–Fri 9–6 Pacific. We usually reply within one business day. You will be talking to Ali Sedighi, the senior consultant who leads every engagement, not a call centre. The first 30-minute consultation is free and carries no obligation.

Three ways to reach us
Use whichever channel fits your day.
- Call (604) 632-4959. Best for a first conversation. If we cannot pick up, leave a short message with your name, company and a good time to call back.
- Text the same number. Useful if you are between meetings or on site. A two-line text is enough to get the conversation started.
- Email Ali@Sedighi.ca. Best when you want to send some background or a question that needs a considered answer.
We do not use web forms, chat windows or booking widgets. Every enquiry reaches a person.
What to include in your first message
Four short pieces of information make the first conversation far more useful. None of them needs to be exact.
- What the company does and roughly how long it has been trading.
- Approximate annual sales, as a range if you prefer.
- Where you operate: which part of Burnaby you are based in and where most customers are. Our areas page shows how we think about the city.
- The one thing you most want to change in the next year.
Here is a template you can copy and fill in:
Hello Ali, I run [Business name], a [type of business] based in [Burnaby area] with about [number] staff. Annual sales are roughly [range]. Most of our customers are in [areas]. The main thing I want to change this year is [goal or problem]. A good time to talk is [day and time].
If you prefer a shorter text:
Hi, this is [Name] from [Business name] in [Burnaby area]. Looking for help with [pricing / growth plan / operations]. Best time to call: [time].
What happens next
Here is the usual sequence after you get in touch.
- We reply, usually within one business day, to arrange a time for the free 30-minute consultation.
- The consultation. We ask about the business, your numbers in broad terms and what you have already tried. You ask whatever you want about us.
- An honest view. By the end of the call we tell you whether we think we can help, and if so, which format fits: hourly time, a project such as a business diagnostic, or monthly owner advisory.
- A written quote, if it makes sense. Projects get a fixed figure and milestone schedule. Retainers get a monthly scope. Prices are on our pricing page.
- You decide. There is no pressure and no follow-up campaign. If the timing is not right, that is fine.
Before you get in touch: a short self-check
If you have ten minutes, these questions will sharpen the first conversation.
- What were sales and gross profit last year, roughly, and how do they compare with the year before?
- Which customers or services do you think are most profitable? Which do you suspect are not?
- How many hours a week do you work, and how many of those could someone else do with clear instructions?
- When did you last change your prices?
- What would you like the business to look like in three years: bigger, more profitable, less dependent on you, or ready to sell?
You do not need to send the answers. Thinking them through before the call means we can get to the real issue faster. Our guide to the owner-dependency scorecard goes deeper on the fourth and fifth questions.
A note on scope and privacy
We are business consultants, and we keep what you tell us confidential. We do not give legal, tax or accounting advice, and we will suggest the right kind of professional if your question needs one. Frequently asked questions
Should we call, text or email?
Whichever suits you. A call is quickest for a first conversation. Text works well if you are on a job site or in meetings all day. Email is best if you want to send a few paragraphs of background first.
Is the first conversation really free?
Yes. The initial 30-minute consultation is free with no obligation. Its purpose is to understand the business, tell you honestly whether we can help and suggest which format makes sense.
Do we need to send financial statements before the first call?
No. A rough sense of annual sales and the main issue is enough to start. Detailed figures come later, only if you decide to go ahead with a diagnostic or project.
Will a salesperson call us back?
No. You speak with Ali Sedighi, who leads every engagement. There is no sales team and no hand-off.
